Terms of Clearance: Approved consistent with the following terms: (1) OMB notes that this approval covers only the following forms: (a) Economic Hardship Deferment Request, (b) Education Related Deferment Request, (c) In-School Deferment Request, (d) Parental Leave/ Working Mother Deferment Request, (e) Public Service Deferment Request, (f) Temporary Total Disability Deferment Request, (g) Unemployment Deferment Request. This approval does not cover the Death and Permanent Total Disability Request forms. (2) ED agrees to obtain Paperwork Reduction Act clearance for the Death and Permanent Total Disability Request forms as soon as is practical. (3) In submitting these forms to OMB for PRA clearance, ED will include in the supporting materials a final copy of the *Corrective Action Plan* developed in response to the OIG's June 7, 1999 report on loan forgiveness. Also, the supporting materials will include ED's answers to the OMB memo of June 24, 1999.
