Abstract: The rental voucher program provides a rent subsidy so eligible families can afford rent for decent, safe, and sanitary housing in the private market. Housing agencies will submit an application for funding and other appropriate forms to administer the voucher program. Housing agencies will report to HUD automated section 8 management information system.
