Abstract: A body of legislation requires prime and subcontracting opportunties for small and small disadvantage firms. Pro-Net resides on the Internet and contains profile information on such firms that are interested in Federal procurement opportunties. The system is accessed by procurement officials of State and Federal agencies, large prime contractors, and any organization in search of required goods and services.
