financial, managerial, competitive, and convenience and needs
information related to a proposal to become a bank holding company.
The FR-Y-1F is used by companies organized under the laws of a
foreign country seeking initial entry into the U.S. through
acquisition or establishment of a U.S. subsidiary bank. The
information is used to determine whether the proposed transaction
should be approved under the relevant statutory criteria.
