This study will involve the solicitation of documents and follow-up telephone interviews with State food stamp directors in each of the 50 States and the District of Columbia. Information will be collected to describe the changes that State and local administrative agencies are adopting to re-engineer their delivery of Food Stamp Program services in response to welfare reform. In addition, intensive case studies will be conducted six States to provide a richer descriptive profile of how FSP administrative practices have changed as a result of welfare reform.
