(2) In the next submission of this form for approval ED will: (a) have the form use a single numeric identifier for postsecondary institutions, (b) allow for an electronic signature alternative, (c) revise the application process so that all materials can be submitted through an electronic medium.

Abstract: The Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended, requires postsecondary institutions to complete and submit this application as a condition of eligibility for any of the title IV student financial assistance programs and for the other postsecondary programs authorized by the HEA.
