Abstract: In the attached NPRM, the Commission is initiating a comprehensive review of its accounting and reporting requirements. The Commission seeks comment on its proposals to reduce or further streamline its recordkeeping requirements for common carriers, audit requirements for the large incumbent LECs, and reduce filing requirements of accounting record changes on the part of affected common carriers.
