Abstract: FDA intends to conduct a pilot program in which volunteers from the retail food industry will use Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) principles and partner with interested regulatory authorities in the program implementation. This pilot program is intended to provide information that FDA can use in enhancing guidance and approaches for applying HACCP principles in the retail industry in cooperation with tribal, State, and local regulatory authorities.
