Abstract: The Energy Policy and Conservation Act (EPCA), as amended, establishes energy efficiency standards and test procedures for certain heating and air conditioning commercial equipment. The Department of Energy needs compliance certification reports from the approximately 124 manufacturers of equipment covered by EPCA, in order to establish compliance and to enforce the provisions of the Act.
