Revisions to recordkeeping and
reporting requirements reflect changes in U.S. obligations under
the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer
(Protocol) due to recent amendments and decisions by signatory
countries to this international agreement. Other amendments are
designed to ease the burden of affected companies while countinuing
to ensure compliance with title VI of the CAA and meets U.S.
obligations under the Protocol. Respondents include producers,
feedstock users, importers, exporters, and destroyers of
ozone-depleting substances in SIC Category 28 "Chemical and Allied
Products."
