Under the PCB regulations pursuant to TSCA section 6(e), recordkeeping requirements are mandatory of inspections of PCB transformers. All owners of PCB transformers are affected by this requirement. The reporting requirements in emergency situations are to ensure the National Response Center is informed of fire-related incidents. Recordkeeping requirements are used to document use, location, and condition of PCB electrical equipment.
