Abstract: The Distressed Neighborhood Process Evaluation Survey will be used to assess whether pilot distressed neighborhood sites meet the goal of allocating personnel resources to the neighborhoods with the greatest need for additional police presence. A comprehensive report of the sites deployment and hiring process, training, and perceptions of the grant will assist the COPS Office to make future funding determinants and program development.
