Abstract: This study is designed to determine the effectiveness of the statutory general funding preference in promoting the Professional Nurse Traineeship (PNT) Program objective in placing graduates receiving PNT funds in medically underserved communities. This study will be used to recommend enhancements to the PNT program to better promote program objectives.
