Abstract: This new collection will provide attitude, value and information from southeast Alaska residents and visitors and from the national public to assist Forest service identify public concerns with management of the Tongass National Forest. The need for scientifically valid information in this topical area was identified in the recently completed Tongass Land Management Plan Information collected will be used to inform day to day managemen decisions, review plan implementation, and to develop the future direction for this national forest.
