Abstract: The Restructuring and Reform Act of 1998 requires that TIGTA evaluate IRS compliance procedures for disclosure requirements for individuals filing joint tax returns as to collect activity involving the other individual on the return. Confirmation letter will be sent to a random sample of taxpayers where there is collection activity on a previously joint return.
