Approved consistent with the following terms of clearance. (1) The next submission for clearance will reflect the new statistical classifications for race/ethnicity. (2) EEOC will consult with interested parties and respondents in order to ensure a smoothe transition to the updated form. (3) As part of this consultation process, EEOC will take the opportunity to investigate other issues with respect to the EEO-3 including the potential for an electronic reporting option. For example, EEOC should investigate the utility of providing respondents with a diskette version of the form as an option for reporting.
