Abstract: To monitor the movement of regulated articles into or through the United States or the interstate movement of regulated articles from regulated areas to nonregulated areas. Also to monitor the efficacy of approved treatments used to prevent the artificial spread of plans pests on regulated articles. We are publishing a Interim rule restricting the interstate movement of certain articles to prevent the spread of melon fruit fly. This rule wil add a new subpart of Melon fruit fly, 301.97.
