This limited
term approval applies only to MSPB's planned surveys of customer
satisfaction with the bench decision process and the use of video
equipment in hearings. OMB understands that these surveys will be
followed up by two reminders in order to increase the anticipated
response rate. OMB can meet with MSPB staff to address improvements
to the MSPB customer satisfaction survey program in general. It is
OMB's intention to approve at a later time a customer satisfaction
survey program.

MSPBV needs to survey customers,
including Federal employees, appellants and their representatives
and agency officials to measure perceptions of our timeliness,
fairness, etc. to measure the effectiveness of our
changes.
