Using formal qualitative methods, this
study seeks to determine how Addiction Technology Transfer Centers
(ATTCs) funded by the Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT)
have incorporated Treatment Improvement Protocols and/or other CSAT
products into the development and delivery of curricula for
training substance abuse treatment providers. Phase I involves
collection and review of curricula, syllabi and other ATTC products
to assess current level and type of use of CSAT products. Phase II
involves individual interviews with ATTC faculty and curriculum
developers at six ATTCs that represent the diversity of
ATTCs.
