Abstract: This study will examine the respiratory health effects of mobile source air pollutants school children living in a metropolian area along the US-Mexico border. El Paso, TX was selected because of heavy traffic volume and wintertime meterological conditionss in a large metropolitan area. Parents of children enrolled in the third and fourth grades of the El Paso Indepen- dent School District will be requested to complete an 8-page children's health questionnaire.
