Abstract: The information collection burden resulting from the promulgation of the GWR, in the first 3 years after promulgation, involves: State and Public Water System (PWS) start-up activities for santary surveys, compliance monitoring, hydrogeologic sensitivi- ty assessments, and microbial monitoring. States will be invol- ved in the following activities to help meet primacy require- ments: regulation adoption, program development, modify data management systems initial laboratory certification and training, staff training, water system training and technical assistance.
