Abstract: The Securities Litigation Uniform Standards Act of 1998 directed the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to encourage the states to adopt laws providing for reciprocal subpoena enforcement and to submit a report on its progress to Congress by November 2000. The staff has prepared this survey to collect information for this report.
