A review of studies evaluating worker notification reveals that there still remain many unanswered questions about the short term impact or the effectiveness of worker notifications or risk communications to workers. A random sample of 250 notified workers and up to 4 other stakeholders will be contacted for telephone interviews concerning the understandability, retention, and usefulness of the notification materials they individually received by mail.
