reprinting the form, INS will change the estimation of the burden
to 1 hour and 45 minutes instead of one hour, by increasing the
travel and waiting time from 15 to 60 minutes. INS will also add
clarification to the instruction form to explain that the filing
fee is waived for the I-765 form when filed jointly with this form
upon reprinting the form.

The data collected on this form is
used by the INS to determine eligibility for the requested benefit,
pursuant to requirements of the Presidential Order dated September
27, 1999. The data will enable adjudication officers to adjudicate
the underlying benefit without the need of requiring individual
interviews in local INS offices on the majority of
applications.
