Terms of Clearance: FNS is commended in its efforts to revise its information collection system to incorporate electronic submission of forms (including this one). OMB strongly supports such efforts and expects that FNS will make this effort an agency-wide priority. For this reason, this information collection request is only approved until June of 2002, at which time OMB will review FNS's progress in the development of an automated system that will enable the electronic submission of forms. The availability and prevalence of electronic form submission is taken into account in all information collection reviews. FNS should also have completed its efforts to streamline the application by that time or shall demonstrate that significant progress has been made toward that effort.
