Abstract: The Residential Finance Survey is a mail-out/mail-back survey with personal visit follow-up conducted as part of the Census 2000. It provides detailed data concerning the financing of non-farm, privately-owned residential properties, and is used by federal agencies, financial institutions, investors, builders, real estate companies, and planners at the federal, state, and local level.
