Coast Guard will
provide a copy of each survey insrument as well as a description of
the activity and the number of burden ho urs involved for each
survey undertaken which is on the approved list. Coast Guard should
submit a progress report similar to that provided as a supplement
to the justification for this renewal prior to the next request for
clearance.

Customer satisfaction surveys are
required by Executive Order 12862. The U.S. Coast Guard will use
the information obtained from direct customers to measure
satisfaction with current services and determine whether additional
services are requested.
