Terms of Clearance: This ICR is approved for three years. When EPA resubmits this ICR for renewal, it must evaluate, after consulting with respondents, the burden estimates for reporting and record- keeping requirements. EPA must list the names, affiliations, and phone numbers of the respondents it contacted. As part of its resubmission, EPA should also verify that the wage rates referenced in section 6(b) of the supporting statement have been properly loaded to include overhead, consistent with current EPA and OMB guidelines.

Abstract: This information collection requires data that are needed to ensure PCBs and PCB wastes are managed in an environmentally safe manner and that activities are being conducted in compliance with the PCB regulations. The data will be used to: assess the efficacy of disposal technologies, evaluate exemption requests and exclusion notices, target compliance inspections, ensure the proper management of PCBs, and ensure adequate storage and disposal capacity exists nationwide and the envionmental releases are managed properly.
