Abstract: The Commission has adopted new methods to select among competing applications to construct noncommercial educational broadcast stations or to make changes in such a facility. The Commission revised Sections 73.202, 73.3527 and 73.3572 to accommodate the new methods. The demonstration required by 73.202 will be used to determine whether there is a greater need for a noncommercial channel versus commercial channel in an allotment request and the supportng documentation concering points claimed will enable interested parties to verify and/or dispute the points claimed.
