The objective of the Census 2000
Evaluation Followup Interview (EFU) is to measure and evaluate data
collection and measurement error associated with the Census 2000
Accuracy and Coverage Evaluation (A.C.E.) process. The EFU
interviews a sample of households interviewed in the A.C.E. to
determine if the people previously collected in the Census or
A.C.E. really lived at the residence on Census Day and/or the
A.C.E. interview day. The results of this will be reconciled with
the production results in a clerical matching operation. The
