This ICR is approved pursuant to 5 CFR 1320. When EPA resubmits this ICR for renewal, it must evaluate, after consulting with respondents, the burden estimates for reporting and recordkeeping requirements. Upon resubmission of the ICR, EPA should also ensure that the method for calculating wage rates, in sections 6(b) and 6(c), is consistent with OMB and EPA guidance, and that all associated data sources and assumptions (e.g., loading rates) are explained.

EPA is establishing new emission standards and other requirements applicable to hazardous waste combustors (HWCs). HWCs are required to submit various reports and perform recordkeeping activities in order to demonstrate compliance with the emission standards. This ICR is for collecting the data necessary to conduct these analyses, prepare and submit notices, and do recordkeeping as specified in the rule.
