Abstract: This telephone survey will provide NHTSA with critical infor- mation needed to develop and implement effective strategies that meet the agency's mandate to improve traffic safety. The data will be used to identify information deficits among the public, obstacles to public safety, and targets for intervention activities in areas of occupant protection.
