Abstract: Sections 401(b) and (c) of the Child Support Performance and Incentives Act of 1998 require regulations that would issue a National Medical Support Notice for purposes of obtaining medical support coverage for children under the title IV-D program. Tis legislation reuqires the use of standardized forms promulgated in regulations by the Secretaries of HHS and DOl to insure uniformity in enrolling children for health care coverage and ease the burden of compliance for employers and health plan administrators.
