Abstract: The purpose of this survey effort is to identify and track characteristics of QNE/DEP loss members and the factors contributing to their decision not to enlist. This survey effort also collects critical information needed to modify current policies and/or procedures used by MEPCOM and USAREC. If the data from the QNE and DEP Loss surveys are not collected, the Army will not be able to improve its current operations by developing a strategy for reducing DEP attrition.
