Abstract: FERC-538 information is required by the Commission under Section 7(a) of the National Gas Act to advise the Commission fully concerning the service which the applicant requests the Commission to direct the Pipeline to render. The data are necessary to evaluate the applicant's present and proposed operations, construction, service and salles together with any extension or improvement of facilities which would be required to enable the applicant to engage in the local distribution of natural gas.
