Abstract: The U.S. EPA is amending the regulations for hazardous waste management under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). EPA is listing hazardous two wastes generated during the production of antimony oxide andone waste generated during the production of titanium dioxide. This action is taken under the authority of RCRA section 3001(b)(1), which authorizes EPA to list wastes as hazardous, and section 3001(e)(2), which directs EPA to make a decision whether to list as hazardous the various inorganic chemical wastes.
