Section 3005 of subtitle C of the
Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) requires owners or
operators of a facility that treats, stores, or disposes of
regulated wastes to obtain a permit. To obtain the permit, the
owner or operator must submit an application describing the
facility's operation. The RCRA permit application has two parts:
Part A and Part B. Part A defines the processes to be used for
treatment, storage, and disposal of hazardous wastes, the design
capacity of each process, and the specific hazardous wastes to be
managed.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
