When presenting the results of this study, CDC shall only generalize the results to populations of which the flight attendants surveyed are representative (those that had similar flight experience which may or may not be all flight attendants).

NIOSHS plans to conduct a study to evaluate whether employment as a flight attendant is associated with an increse risk of certain types of cancer, including breast cancer. The study will involve a one-time telephone survey of approximately 10,000 flight attendants.
