Abstract: The main objective of this study is to determine the level of support needed by substance abuse treatment providers in order to implement treatment guidelines contained in TIP #35 into practice. Ths study will use a pretest/post-test experimental design in which treatment facilities are randomly assigned to one of four conditions. Data collected at baseline and followup will measure providers' awareness of TIP #35, attitudes TIP #35, use of the TIP and the impact of the TIP on practices within their facilities.
