Abstract: The proposed rule would require that sponsors of clinical studies involving human gene therapy or xenotransplantation must provide FDA to redacted form certain information already being submitted under the sponor's Investigational New Drug Application (IND). The information would be made immediately available by FDA through its website and in a public docket and would be available upon request. The general public would be provided appropriate information so they better understand any issues and be better informed when participating in public discussion.
