OMB clearance is being sought to
collect information fof a series of phone surveys to monitor and
evaluate the National Bone Health Campaign. The first phase of the
campaign targets pre-teen girls and their parents with messages
designed to enhance calcium consumption and physical activity among
girls ages 9-12. In subsequent years, the campaign will be expanded
to include teenage girls. The research proposed here includes a
national baseline survey to assess relevant knowledge, attitudes
and behavior among girls ages 9-18, a national follow-up survey
with girls ages 9-12 at the end of the first phase of the
campaign,...
