Abstract: In the recent Transportation Recall Enhancement Accountibility & Documentation (TREAD) Act Congress directed DOT to complete a rulemaking to require a warning system for underinflated tires. This survey will provide baseline information about the extent of underinflated tires in the Motoring Public.
