This information
collection request is approved for three years. This approval only
covers the burden associated with the reporting and recordkeeping
requirements for the respondents identified in the supporting
statement for the ICR -- SIC 2811-2899, the Chemical and Allied
Industries, and 2911-2999, the Petroleum Refining and Related
Industries. Should EPA wish to expand these reporting and
recordkeeping requirements to other industries, the Agency must
submit a revised ICR, pursuant to the Paperwork Reduction Act and 5
CFR 1320.

The required reports and records are
necessary to ensure attain- ment and maintenance of the NSPS by
guaranteeing application and proper operation of the best
demonstrated control technology. The affected public are primarily
storage vessel owners of petroleum liquids and the synthetic
organic chemical manufactur- ing industries.
