The Mid-Atlantic Fishery Management
Council has submitted a Tilefish Fishery Management Plan. Part of
the implementation of this plan would be a requirement that vessels
permitted in the tile fish fishery would have to display
identification information in three locations. The purpose of the
requirement is to facilitate enforcement of regulations. Such
vessel identification is already required for any
Federally-permitted vessel in the Northeast Region.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).

the proposed collection of information, that the certification
covers:
