Abstract: In accordance with TFM Vol. 1, Part 4 and DOD 7000.14-R, Vol. 5, there is a requirement that payees identify themselves and certify as to what happened to the original check issued by the Government; i.e., non-receipt, loss, destruction, theft, etc. This collection of information will be used to identify rightful reissuance of Government checks to business outside of DOD.
