The Supplement to HIV/AIDS
Surveillance (SHAS) Project interviews HIV-infected persons on
their sociodemographics, sexual/drug using behaviors, reasons for
the time of HIV testing, access to medical/social services,
access/adherence to therapy, and disability. This information is
used by government at the local, state, and national levels for
planning and evaluation prevention programs, and allocating care
and service dollars.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
