This ICR is
approved for three years. However, EIA should consider the
feasibility of conducting a sample survey, rather than a census. If
such a change is determined to be feasible, OMB encourages EIA to
revise the ICR prior to its expiration. EIA should also note that
the decision to expand the survey in any way should be treated as a
revision to the ICR package. Finally, OMB encourages EIA to
consider consolidating this collection with its other collections
that cover information on gas prices (e.g. 1910-0175) to provide
for a more comprehensive look at the data collection activities and
the potential to reduce burden.

EIA-910 will collect information
necessary for developing accurate estimates of state-level prices
paid by commerical and residential consumers of natural gas. The
data will also be used for modeling and analytical efforts.
Initially, respondents will be all natural gas marketers selling to
residential and/or commerical customers in Georgia, Maryland, New
York, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
