The National Park Service needs
information to assess the poten potential socio-economic impacts of
rehabilitation alternatives for Going-to-the-Sun Road. Direct
responses from local businesses in the Glacier National Park area
will provide quality information upon which to develop reliable
analyses. The local area is defined to include three counties in
Montana plus some communities in southwest Alberta, Canada. Survey
results will help describe and quantify potential socio-economic
impacts of road rehabilitation alternatives by providing
information regard regarding business reliance on tourism,
perceived impacts during
