Abstract: The proposed data collection activities will produce valuable research information for use by tribal governments in deciding whether and how to implement an effective tribal TANF program, or to change an existing program in order to enhance its potential for success. In addition, the data will be used by policymakers at federal, State and local levels in determining the need for changes, if any, in the current policies and procedures which impact on tribal communities.
