The IRS through a subcontractor will
launch the EFTPS-OnLine Payment Option for the Electronic Federal
Tax Payment System. In order to meet the target launch and to
prepare media and internet advertisement, a quantitative study must
be conducted to talk to taxpayers regarding their use of the
Internet to determine their views about paying their taxes online
and to determine their interest in changing their method of paying
their taxes from the paper and telephone arena to an electronic
arena.
